SAIC Motor, Chinas largest carmaker, witnessed a 63.3 percent year-on-year increase in overseas sales in January of this year to 37,500 despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sales of SAIC Motors new energy vehicles surged 446.6 percent year-on-year growth to 58,000 in January of this year.
SAIC Motor, the largest carmaker in China, has set a target of exporting 1.5 million vehicles during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period, accounting for around 15 percent of total sales.
